We All Need Love

Sick, sick, and sick.  Both of us.  It’s astounding how one small microscopic virus can do us in so handily.

Since there’s not much to relate about recuperating (a rather dull task), I’ll share an incident from a video Dan took of Liliana.

In the video Dan teases Liliana with the phrase, “Don’t tell me what to do,” as a reference to a fairly repeated joke among some of my siblings.  Dan has often said I should wear a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan “You’re Not the Boss of Me,” because it fits.  Growing up, we were always told what to do and how to do it, and very rarely got to choose how we wanted to do it, hence the feistiness.

And lastly, we’ve run out of books but not DVDs.  Going along with the theme for today–we all need love–we feel well enough to watch Lars and the Real Girl tonight.  I admit, I’m a sucker for emotional, tender-hearted, well-written movies, and I cry at the end.  An amazing movie.
