Market Day Soup

Just a few words today.

That pairing of photos makes me long for summer.  Good produce is hard to come by where we are.  All I can think of is: four more months until our Farmer’s Market starts.  Or is it longer than that?

This is Kiss My Spatula’s Market Day Soup.  Complete with music pairing.  [She does this with all her recipes.  Such a great idea, because of course, you must have excellent music while you’re cooking such loveliness!]

I’m taking off for a weekend retreat.  I’ll see you back here on Monday.  Have a fantastic weekend, y’all.

The quote I live by

Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.
