Bigger Fish

Hey!  Over here!

Are you a good listener…an active listener?  Or an eye-wandering, bigger-fish-to-fry kind of person?  Or an interrupter, like me?  [I’m trying, I’m really trying…to SHUT UP!  My mind starts whirring when you start talking, and I’m afraid I’ll forget what I’m going to say.  Still.  I know that’s no excuse!]

Here are some rudimentary tips to follow, courtesy of Jenny Doh from Crescendoh.

Ahem.  One more thing.  Today is the LAST day to enter the giveaway for John Jodzio’s new short story collection, If You Lived Here You’d Already Be Home. If you’re hankering for a good read (or read-aloud), enter here by midnight tonight, PST.  Winners announced tomorrow morning.

The quote I live by

Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.
