Validation

Okay, if you want to smile today…or chuckle…or feel good, you have to see this film.  It’s about 16 minutes long (okay, don’t groan; hang with me here!), and you might think it’s a tad schmaltzy and forced (indeed, the compliments and validations in the film might be a bit overboard), but I’m a fan.  My friend Clara sent it to me after yesterday’s post on Calm and Compassionate Children.

As much as you wonder (as you’re watching it)–am I really going to watch this whole thing?–you can’t turn it off. At least I couldn’t.

Here’s more information on the film from the YouTube site:

“Validation” is a fable about the magic of free parking.

So.  Imagine the strength of your words.  Imagine that you are changing people’s lives every day.  Start with your spouse or friends or children.  Then branch out.

And remember.  You are fabulous.  You are great.  You can do anything you set your mind to.
