Lady Bug Swarm
We entertain these visitors every year. Usually they descend around the middle of September, but now that we’ve had ONE warm day, it happened today.
Flying swarms of lady bugs everywhere (although they’ll tell you they’re asiatic beetles). Whatever they are, they’re into everything, and they have the ability to slip through doorjambs and window frames. They’re tenacious!
As pesky as they are, they are beautiful.
If it doesn’t happen where you live (perhaps you have other sorts of critters), you can enter the moment with me, by video. Michael Ramsey has caught this extraordinary phenomenon on camera…and set it all to Gregory Alan Isakov, whom I highlighted once here.
This is exactly what it looks like!
Enjoy!
