I don’t know where I’ve been, but I actually listened to the lyrics of this song yesterday, and thought they were thought-provoking and inclusive, and although many Christians today bemoan the fact that everything has become relative, I’d counter to say that people who have been hurt by the church have thrown everything out in order to reconstruct another view of God.  So, in the meantime, while their thoughts and views are in shambles, that’s when the best work is done.  They’re building up their experience of God, brick by brick, and oddly enough, it never quite builds a church…or a Christian, for that matter.

That’s my experience anyway.
