Summer Music Mix

This Saturday Dan and I are going to our second U2 360º Tour concert.  This time we’re in the Red Zone.  Up close so we can see Bono’s and Edge’s nose hairs.

You can never have too much music, right?  And it’s always fun to hear someone else’s idea of a good mix.  You may not agree with all my selections, but here are 20 incredible tunes.

Either you can watch the videos linked to each song, or you can stream them at the bottom of this post.  Your choice.

Enjoy!  Grab someone.  Dance close.  Dance wildly.  Sip lemonade.  Call a friend.  Lie there.  Whatever the song calls for.

Great list! The Civil Wars are my favorite find of the year– I’m still kicking myself for not seeing them when the played at The Varsity Theatre. I’ve been listening to the Brandon Flower’s cd a lot since you recommended it awhile back.

Do you listen to A Fine Frenzy at all? Your list makes me think that you’d like her stuff.

Have fun at the show, I’m sure U2 will be a-mazing!

LOVE A Fine Frenzy. Hmmm…sadly, yes, I don’t have her on this list, but she’s on my iPod at home…

    Thanks, Jen!

    Ooh, hope you like it!

Great list although I’d add a little Janglin by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Red Zone – I’m jealous although I can’t complain about my seats. Was a great show despite the rain.
